Playa El Doradillo

Punta Tombo

What you will find: The nature reserve that is home to the largest continental colony of Magellanic penguins. The main activity here is hiking: you will literally walk among thousands of nests, watching the penguins feed their young and head to the sea. It is an immersive experience of direct contact with nature.

Our transfer service: Punta Tombo is far from the main cities (approx. 180km from Madryn). Hiring a private transfer is the best option to rest during the trip, enjoy the steppe landscape, and arrive with energy for the hike.

Puerto Pirámides

What you will find: This is the heart of Península Valdés and the only port authorized for whale watching tours. It also offers incredible viewpoints, sea lion colonies, seafood cuisine, and protected beaches.

Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum

What you will find: A journey into the past at one of South America's most important science museums. It is home to the famous Patagotitan Mayorum, the largest dinosaur ever discovered. Its rooms offer a visually stunning tour with original fossils and replicas that tell the natural history of Patagonia. It is a must-see cultural and educational visit, ideal for the whole family.

What you will find: A landscape “from another planet” within the Valdés Peninsula. These are enormous salt depressions (below sea level) that stain the ground pink, white, and lilac. It is a brief but mandatory stop for photography lovers and to understand the geology of the region.

Salinas

Caleta Valdés

What you will find: An impressive geographical feature where a strip of land creates a sheltered channel teeming with life. It is the ideal place to walk along trails and see a huge colony of elephant seals. It is also one of the strategic points where, at certain times of the year, killer whales come close to the coast to hunt.

Our transfer service: Located at the other end of the peninsula, getting there requires traveling along long internal gravel roads. Our drivers know the condition of the roads and the best scenic spots to stop at, ensuring a safe and optimized trip.

Season: All year round (sea elephants) / Orcas (specific season).

Playa Unión

What you will find: The Rawson seaside resort, known for its wide coastline, waves for surfers, and gastronomy. The star attraction is the Toninas Overas whale watching tour, where you can see Patagonian dolphins. Transfer service: we take you to the port for your excursion and give you time to explore the waterfront. Ideal to combine with the Paleontological Museum of Trelew or Gaiman.

Isla Escondida

What you will find: An unspoiled pebble beach south of Rawson, where you can observe a colony of elephant seals in a wild environment. Ideal for fishing and tranquility.

Transportation: There is no public transportation, but we will take you there in vehicles suitable for the area.
